Yad B'Yad-Family/Senior Survey
Connecting Burlington's Jewish Community with the UVM student family!
A free partnership opportunity for families with children (newborn-18 y/o), and seniors to connect with UVM students! There are three different programs:
• Big sibling (for families with young children)
• Mentorship program (for families with children in elementary, middle, or high school)
• Grandfriends program (for seniors)
The student would come spend time with your families in ways that are meaningful/helpful. Their time might be spent playing with the kids, helping someone cook, assisting with homework, running errands, playing games, etc. The time commitment asked of the students is approximately one hour per week as their academic schedule allows. In addition to these 1:1 meetings, there are also four opportunities for all Yad B’Yad families and volunteers to meet together.
Please note that this program runs according to the UVM academic calendar (Sept-May).
