Being part of this media staff is a large commitment, but one that will be a wonderful learning experience and an excellent addition to any resume! We will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 9, with an official training session and end Friday, July 13, after the last general session. Assignments must be completed by the deadline each night; therefore, being a staff member may require long, unpredictable hours.
Please sit down and discuss this opportunity with your agriculture teacher BEFORE applying for a staff position. Your teacher must be willing to support your time commitment to the media staff, as well as bring you and picking you up on time each day. Attendance on Monday, July 10 for training is REQUIRED, so please make sure you and your agriculture science teachers are aware. Travel to and from the convention center will not be provided by Texas FFA.
