VTVO Elders Adda proudly presents Hiriyara Jatare 2026 (ಹಿರಿಯರ ಜಾತ್ರೆ), a grand celebration dedicated to senior citizens living in old age homes.

This year, we are planning to bring together 800 senior citizens from more than 35 old age homes across Bengaluru for a day filled with happiness, connection, celebration, and love.
What is Hiriyara Jatare (ಹಿರಿಯರ ಜಾತ್ರೆ)?
Hiriyara Jatare (Elders Fest) is much more than an event—it's a celebration of life, dignity, and togetherness.
For one unforgettable day, senior citizens from different old age homes come together under one roof to experience the joy of being celebrated.
The day is packed with:

* 🎭 Cultural performances and stage shows
* 🎤 Interactive sessions
* 🏆 Exciting competitions
* 🎶 Music, laughter, conversations, and countless heartwarming moments
Most importantly, it's a day where every elder feels seen, respected, appreciated, and loved.
Many of them rarely get opportunities like this. Together, we can change that.

The maroon colour represents our unity, compassion, commitment, and strength. Whether you're volunteering for the first time or have been part of VTVO for years, your time and presence can create memories that our elders will cherish forever.
Why Volunteer?
As a volunteer, you'll play a key role in making the day memorable by welcoming and assisting senior citizens, coordinating activities, supporting stage programs, and ensuring the event runs smoothly. Above all, you'll spend meaningful time with our elders, creating an atmosphere filled with warmth, joy, laughter, and celebration.
