The 13th annual
SciREN Coast Networking Fair will be held the evening of Thursday, February 19, 2026 at the
Core Sound Waterfowl Museum & Heritage Center (1785 Island Rd, Harkers Island, NC 28531) from 5:00 - 8:30 PM. Any and all scientific researchers and professional science educators are welcome to host a table to present your work to >100 other researchers and K-12 teachers during a fun evening with food, drink, and prizes! Our ultimate goal is to give K-12 teachers resources created by scientists to improve scientific literacy in NC classrooms.
In the weeks leading up to the event, we will send follow up emails with important details regarding the event: schedules, a list of research attendees, and what to bring and expect.
Please note, this is only an interest form, not registration for the event. Registration will be sent out in Jan 2026 following interest/prep workshops. This is a free event. We are only using this form to gage interest and provide more info!!
