The Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts has volunteer opportunities for individuals, groups and corporate volunteer programs. The Levitt Pavilion is an independent and unique 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that presents one of the longest running and largest outdoor performing arts seasons in the nation, featuring both its signature "50 free shows under the stars" (oftentimes presenting over 60!) and the Stars on Tour benefit series of events, mini-series and festivals. On-site events and programs take place from April - October; off-site programs take place year-round.
Event support responsibilities and assignments include or may include:
1. Ushering ticket-holders to their seating locations
2. Monitoring entrances/exits throughout the duration of the event
3. Helping ensure compliance with our safety protocols and rules throughout the site and for the duration of the event
4. Checking-in ticket holders at the entry point
5. Helping remind audience to be in compliance with all Levitt Pavilion safety protocols
6. In addition to event-focused volunteer support, the Levitt Pavilion also has maintenance-based initiatives on a seasonal basis involving site-care and lawn prep (think mulch!)
7. At this time, applicants using this form must be 18 years of age or older.*
In general, volunteering is a three-to-five-hour time commitment per performance. You may be asked to help move tables and chairs. Event set-up shifts can be 1-2 hours depending on the event logistics (chair set up, for example)
Volunteers are a vital part of our operations and help ensure that our patrons have an enjoyable, memorable, safe and comfortable experience.
Note: not all volunteer posts include the opportunity to directly see the show.
