This video contest offers high-school students an opportunity to compete for a $1000 award as they discuss how current-day social justice movements and COVID-19 have affected their education calendar, and how they plan to persevere through these uncertain times to achieve the goal of higher education.

In an uploaded YouTube or Vimeo video of five minutes or less, students should speak to their passions, their educational plans, and how the current climate and unknown future are affecting how they are processing next steps. Video format is wide open; we ask that you be creative, be concise, and most importantly, be you. If your video contains any language other than English, we ask that you provide English subtitles.

The competition is open to graduating high school seniors (from the United States and U.S. territories; must be graduates of American schools or were American home-schooled students with preference given to Georgia residents). Submissions due no later than 11:59 pm EDT on June 17, 2020. Winners will be announced via email and social media on July 4, 2020.

By entering this competition, you consent to future use of your submission on The Scholarship Academy's website and social media channels. Students under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian (via email verification at bottom of form) to submit a video.
