This is a one-day seminar-workshop where participants will be trained on how to use the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy by Krathwohl and Anderson and the Structure of Learning Outcomes (SOLO) by Biggs and Collis in developing and evaluating students' 21st century skills. The session highlights the use of the cognitive processes and the knowledge dimensions in constructing quality test items using the multiple choice format in assessing students' 21st century learning skills.
Target participants: teachers across levels and disciplines from basic education to tertiary level
The teacher participants are expected to:
1. demonstrate understanding of the Revised Bloom's Taxonomy and SOLO in the construction of quality multiple choice items;
2. construct multiple choice items in assessing the 21st century skills; and
3. reflect on the importance of assessment framework in developing high quality cognitive tests
