The singularly stunning view of the Pittsburgh skyline from atop Mount Washington is a world-renowned breathtaking vista. One travel writer aptly described it as the “Best Urban View in the World.” This magnificent and unique panorama is a cherished treasure in Western Pennsylvania. 

As people flock from around the world to Mount Washington to witness this beautiful sight, tourism generates a much-needed tax revenue stream to supports our region.

As the view diminishes, so does tourist spending and consequently less tax dollars for our region. This is a formula for disaster, with the City and County currently in a budget crisis.

Unfortunately, after two decades of neglect, one of the premiere views in America is slipping away. With your help we can stop the erosion.
