Integrate Reproductive Health Initiative Application

TEACH has launched a new initiative for CALIFORNIA BASED CLINICAL SITES  to help integrate full spectrum reproductive health - including abortion and early pregnancy loss management - into existing primary care practices. Our comprehensive program can help break down common barriers to offer this essential care in your community. We are looking for primary care practices wanting to integrate abortion: 

  • Clinician-champions and teams from established primary care clinics, including community health centers and FQHCs,  and/or

  • Training programs for Family Medicine, FNP/CNM/PA, and other primary care specialties

  • With sites anywhere in California—but prioritizing healthcare and abortion shortage  areas and clinics that see a large proportion of low income patients

What we offer: 

  • Start to finish technical support to bring abortion and/or miscarriage management to your clinic

  • Strategic assistance in building buy-in with leadership and staff

  • Evidence-based training through a reproductive justice lens for all staff 

  • On-site staff training, structured technical support, and a virtual learning community to help connect you to other participating clinics

  • Training in options counseling, management of early pregnancy loss and abortion by TEACH Integrate RH team, as part of the California Reproductive Health Service Corps

  • Optional contraceptive training with comprehensive updates, hot topics, and /or skill trainings by UCSF Beyond the Pill (BTP) team

  • Our teams bring decades of experience with comprehensive training and evaluation in early abortion, pregnancy loss, contraception and FQHC abortion integration

  • Original as well as curated resources to support each step of integration

  • Participating organizations are eligible for funds to support your work of up to $15,000
