Scholarship Application to Attend the POGIL Summer 3-Day Workshop in Portland, Oregon, July 30-August 1, 2019
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Friday, May 10, 2019

Established thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor to The POGIL Project, the goal of this scholarship fund is to increase the number of POGIL practitioners among rural high school STEM teachers in the States of Washington, Oregon and Idaho. The scholarship award will include registration, on-campus lodging, and meals at the 2019 POGIL 3-Day Summer Workshop in Portland, Oregon, and a reimbursement of up to $374 for travel expenses to and from the workshop. Scholarship recipients will be selected based on meeting eligibility criteria and demonstrating a commitment to student-centered learning. A limited number of scholarships are available, so apply ASAP!

To qualify, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
--Be a high school teacher
--Teach at least 3 periods of high school science, technology, engineering or math
--Teach in a rural county in the State of Washington, Oregon or Idaho.
