****This activity is not sponsored or supported by UW, UWSOM, WSU or ESFCOM and this activity is solely being done on certain UW/ESFCOM’s student own time and through their own resources on a voluntary basis.****
WHO: We are medical students at ESFCOM and UWSOM who want to help support healthcare workers during this COVID-19 pandemic. The ESFCOM contact person is Reilly Bealer, an MS2 at Elson S Floyd College of Medicine. The UWSOM contact person is Natalie Chin, an MS4 at University of Washington School of Medicine.
WHAT: This form is intended for healthcare workers in the Spokane area looking for help with childcare/babysitting, grocery runs, pharmacy runs, and more. Knowing your current needs will enable us to connect you to medical student volunteers who want to help you.
WHERE: In or around Spokane
WHY: We want to support you as best as we can during this important time of community effort. It takes a village! This project is NOT organized through either medical school, however. We are mobilizing students independently. Please direct all questions to Reilly at
reilly.bealer@gmail.com or Natalie at
nmychin@gmail.comHOW: After you fill this form, we will look at our central database which contains names of students who are able to help with the above-mentioned services. We will connect the 2 of you via text or email, after which you can make plans as your schedules work! Having a central document for both requests and connections will help us minimize confusion and cross talk.
Please note that this service is flexible and might change daily. We will do our best as students to support you! In return, we ask for your timely response to students and to be aware of our own limitations.
