For Our Future Campaign Sign Up
Imagine a world where housing is affordable and climate change isn't the biggest threat of our time.  We can make this a reality, and it begins with showing WA's leaders the support they have to fight #ForOurFuture!

Here's the issues we'll be working on:

Middle housing – This would bring an end to exclusionary zoning by allowing 4-plexes in all areas zoned for detached single family residences, and 6-plexes near transit.

Transit Oriented Development – This would significantly increase the zoned capacity around transit to leverage the recent investments by the state in transit. Addresses issues that increase the cost to build TOD by removing parking minimums and other unnecessary development regulations.

GMA Climate – This legislation requires that the largest and fastest growing counties and cities within them to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and vehicle miles traveled through land use planning. It also requires all jurisdictions to plan for resiliency and address the impacts of climate change.

Are you interested in learning more about being a field coordinator? *
We've got big goals, and the more people we have take on leadership, the more we can accomplish.  Being a field coordinator means being responsible for keeping a small group of volunteers in your area up to date on campaign actions and bill updates.  This is a great way to learn new skills and build the team!
Can you attend campaign meetings? *
We'll have biweekly campaign meetings leading up to the legislative session on Tuesdays from 6-7pm over zoom.  Once the session begins, we will begin to meet every Tuesday.  Everyone is encouraged to attend; they are for anyone who wants to stay up to date on the campaign, take actions, and help make decisions.

The first meeting will be Nov 22, then Dec 6, Dec 20, and Jan 3.

If you selected option 3, which meetings can you make it to?
December Week of Action-- which events can you attend? *
There's only a few more weeks until the beginning of the legislative session!  That's a small window for us to raise visibility and support on our campaign.  That's why we're hosting a December week of action Dec 11-16, with events every day.  Sign up for what you're interested in and stay tuned for more information.  If you're interested in helping run any of these events, check the box marked "interested in helping coordinate!"
