Destination Dig Registration
Instead of allowing covid to potentially put a damper on our plans for VBS this year, we decided to think outside the box and provide a new experience that is geared towards the whole family. We are excited to present to you, Destination Dig, a three night family event for preschoolers, children, youth, and their parents. A majority of the content for Destination Dig will come from the Destination Dig VBS curriculum provided by Lifeway. In addition, we will have custom-made content for parents each night led by our Student and Family Pastor, Jonathon Duke. Here are some additional details about the event:

Dates: June 15-17, 2021

Cost: Free

Time: 6:30-8:30pm

Registration is required for anyone to participate.

A PARENT OR GUARDIAN MUST REMAIN ON CAMPUS FOR THE FULL DURATION OF THE EVENT EACH NIGHT.
What we offer for students:
Our first recommendation for students attending Destination Dig is to serve as a volunteer for this event if they are mature enough and this is something he or she feels led to do. In order to serve as a volunteer, each student who has completed grades 7-12 needs to fill out a Student Volunteer Application that can be found in the Student Ministry Department. These forms are then submitted to our Student and Family Pastor, Jonathon Duke.

However, volunteering isn't the only thing we offer for youth attending Destination Dig. For those not volunteering, we will be providing content for our students in the youth department each night.
What we have provided for parents/guardians:
A few parents will be volunteers helping as leaders during the event.

For all of our parents who aren't volunteering, Jonathon will be leading the following sessions each night:

Tuesday Night - Parents will gather around tables to discuss the challenges of parenting in today's world due to covid and all other kinds of craziness.

Wednesday Night - Resources to help us spiritually lead our families.

Thursday Night - How to have Gospel-based, spiritual conversations with your kids.
