How to Take Legislative Action to Address Policing and Public Safety
We are asking ourselves where to start, what to do, when will it be enough. We are processing pain and trauma that is renewed each time we Say Their Names. We are taking to the frontlines to protest against police brutality and make unequivocally clear: Black Lives Matter.

We are taking control of the legislative process: On Monday, Platform signed onto The Leadership Conference on Civil & Human Rights’ letter demanding Congress pass swift and comprehensive reform to end police brutality and address systemic racism as a public safety and health crisis.

Now, we are taking action to ensure those demands are realized.

Join Platform and The Leadership Conference on Civil & Human Rights on Monday, June 8 at 5:30 pm EST for a training on How to Take Legislative Action to Address Policing and Public Safety.

Throughout the training we’ll cover the basics of calling, writing, tweeting and meeting with your lawmaker; we'll dive into the various policing policies awaiting action; and we’ll learn how to build coalitions to make. it. happen.

For security, the Zoom link to the training will be shared the day of.
