Scholarship Application form - Accentuated
Accentuated (https://asyou.org/accentuated-women-leaders) is a 6-month leadership programme designed for ethnically diverse women to step into their authentic leadership identity and power.

Scholarship Criteria
You would have immigrated to NZ or have been born in NZ with an indigenous or ethnic cultural background. You have been recognised by your organisation or your community as having leadership potential or as being likely to influence and impact at a wider or more senior level.

This scholarship is available to women of colour / ethnically diverse women who identify with one or more of the following statements:
  • I am actively involved in volunteering in my community
  • I am actively helping in my community and/or championing diversity by working with a minority or disadvantaged group
  • My employer is a not for profit organisation.
At the end of the programme, as part of the scholarship, you will present or write a one-page report to your sponsor sharing your learning outcomes and achievements.

Programme Cost and Dates
The programme spans over 6 months with 4 x in-person workshops and several online group coaching sessions. The in-person workshop dates are:
  • Tauranga:  Tues 13 February, Tues 26 March, Tues 7 May and Tues 2 July
You will need to make all the workshop dates however the dates are flexible to change upon discussion with the cohort. Before the first in-person workshop, you will also have a virtual meet and greet with the rest of the cohort. In between the in-person workshops, you will have online group coaching sessions.

The cost is $3,250+GST per participant.

Scholarships available
Currently, there are two partial scholarships of $1,000+GST available for Tauranga participants.

If you apply for the scholarship, you and your organisation will need to cover $2,250+GST of the programme cost. The scholarship does not include costs of travel/accommodation. If money is an issue, do apply for the scholarship anyway and we will see what we can sort out.

The Tauranga partial scholarships have been proudly sponsored by Tauranga City Council's Welcoming Communities, which ensure newcomers are welcome and create an inclusive environment for all ethnicities in the region.
