From the Ground UP is currently seeking any female identifying person in the second half of their life (and/or 50 yrs or above) to participate in this exciting pilot program.

This 10 week Residency will give 4-6 participants the opportunity to train with several professional female artists from around the state in several different mediums within the world of the performing arts. Additionally From the Ground UP will supply open studio time for each resident to develop a new work that will be performed as a workshop in performance at the end of the program. We are looking for participants who have a desire to bring their important stories to the stage and to share their voices with the greater Portland community.

To have the chance to participate please submit a letter of interest. This will help us assess community interest in this pilot program as well as get a deeper sense of who is interested so we can curate programing that best serves the unique interests and needs of the residents.
