Future Grads College Coach Application
Thank you for your interest in becoming a College Coach Volunteer!

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula's Future Grads Program provides low-income high school students from East Palo Alto to Daly City with the skills, coaching, and peer support they need to become first-generation graduates of four-year colleges. As a College Coach, you will be matched with a high school senior to provide critical guidance through their college application process. Your support will focus on three key areas:

1. College research and application submission (CSU, UCs and Private colleges)
2. College essay writing and editing
3. Scholarship applications

In addition to one-on-one mentoring, you will participate in workshops and collaborate with Future Grads staff to ensure your student stays on track and feels supported.

As a college coach, you are required to commit to 7 months of support** (from August to February) and between 2-6 hours of support during peak months of October and November.

Please review the  College Coach Volunteer Description  to learn more about this opportunity!   Deadline to apply: 6/15/25

**Future Grads programming will be an in-person model with some virtual aspects.
