MomoCon’s 2019 Artists Alley will be utilizing a jury process. The Jury Process will begin on Dec 1st at 9:00PM EST and end Dec 15th at 9:00PM EST for applications, with notifications going out to all applicants on or before Jan 15th. The Jury System will be based on (in order of importance):
1. Adhering to Artists Alley rules/guidelines, removing incomplete applications2. Variety of products/offerings/artwork (categories of many types)3. Professionalism and completeness of portfolio Artists should be ready to provide+Basic contact information, including up to date email+Examples through photos, videos, photos of booths at prior events (this is highly preferred), deviantart/youtube tutorial/websites with example art, or any online link that gives example of at least 10 pieces of work.
Pricing and SignupsEach Artists Alley space includes 2 full weekend memberships (valued at $110-160), and will have a cost of $275. Signups will be available from a link provided on the Artists Alley page on Dec 1st at 9:00PM EST.
Please fill out all of the information requested and read the entire Artist Contract detailed at the bottom of this form. Artists are provided 6 foot tables, 2 feet wide, skirted with two chairs and two badges to MomoCon 2019. Extra materials, water, power, internet, shipping etc. may be purchased through the provided on-site decorator, information to be provided to accepted artists at a later date.
PLEASE NOTE: Bladed weapons and any 18+ material are not allowed at MomoCon at any time. This includes but is not limited to sharpened swords (on display for mail order or for direct sale), products with erotic nude figures, body pillows with overly suggestive images, graphic doujinshi featuring sexual acts and nudity. Artists are not permitted to sell any sort of food, edible material, or foodstuffs, no exceptions. Primarily direct traced art from official sources will not be permitted.
