Join us for the
third workshop of
STEMinism Speaks, a
three-part summer series of virtual workshops where you’ll meet inspiring women trailblazers in STEM, engage in courageous conversations with fellow women in STEM, and activate your own STEMinist potential. These workshops are hosted by the NC chapter of the Association for Women in Science (AWIS); learn more at
https://www.awisnorthcarolina.org.
In the final workshop on August 17 from 4:30 to 5:30 pm ET, we’ll discuss actions we can take to close the “Confidence Gap” experienced by women in STEM, and discover our inner strength. Join us for a panel discussion with two trailblazing women in STEM:
- Dr. Tina Moore, Director of Workforce Development at the Arkansas Division of Higher Education and State Leader of Million Women Mentors - Arkansas
- Ms. Markita Riley, Outreach and Student Programs Manager at the Society of Women Engineers
Workshops are FREE and all are welcome! Register with THIS FORM to receive the Zoom link for workshop #3.
