As a social entrepreneur and changemaker, I have noticed that one of the things that enhanced my career trajectory was the ability to tell powerful stories. Every week, I speak to young social entrepreneurs in Nigeria working to solve the deepest problems in the world and I noticed that the lack or inability to tell powerful stories is affecting or hindering them to move further in their career or create the change they desire.
Storytelling can inspire other people to support your cause, can make you stand out in a grant application, and can create a compelling brand for you. This is why I am organizing the storytelling basecamp as part of the requirement of my fellowship as a fellow of the Western Union Foundation and Watson Institute to give back to young social entrepreneurs, activists and changemakers on how they can become great storytellers for their work and cause.
Please complete the form below to be considered for this opportunity. 50 person will be selected for the in-person component and others can join online. We will be selecting 10 people to pitch their work in person and compete for a small grant of $150.
