AYCC Victoria Student Climate Leadership Program 2020: Application Form - Session 1
The Australian Youth Climate Coalition (AYCC) is Australia's largest youth-led organisation, working with young people aged 12-30 on campaigns to stop fossil fuel projects, hold governments to account on climate change, and transition our energy sources to 100% renewables.
The Student Climate Leadership Program is an intensive training program for high school students interested in getting skilled-up to be an effective leader and campaigner.
The program includes a weekend launch, weekly sessions (after school hours), one-on-one mentoring to support what students want to achieve in their own schools/communities, hands-on opportunities to apply skills learnt to actual campaigns, and a graduation ceremony.
Key program dates are as follows:
- Launch weekend: 25th + 26th of April, 10am-5pm
- Regular Sessions (every Thursday or approx 2 hours, after school hours): 30th April, 7th May, 14th May, 21st May, 28th May, 4th June, 11th June
- Graduation Ceremony: Thursday 18th June
In order to graduate you are expected to attend 80% of the sessions.
