Given that the course is meant for adult learners, we try to find a balance between an experiential, interactive structure and the focus and rigour that the subject requires. Meditation, lectures, presentations, discussions, art, music and movies are some of the methods we will probably be using through these 6 months.
I understand that during the teaching sessions I need to listen, to share and to help in creating a space that will facilitate my learning as well as that of the others. *
Given the experiential nature of the sessions, I understand that it is necessary for me to attend all the sessions for maximum benefit *
Assignments and projects are planned in a manner that will allow you to build your understanding of Buddhist Psychology and daily practice. Assignments will include book reviews, essays, reflections and practice.
I understand the need for timely assignments and projects, and I commit to completing the same *
I understand that the certification is contingent upon completion of all the requirements of the course, including a minimum of 75% attendance in the course *
