Fall 2026 ODI Kick Off Sign-Up
The Office of Diversity & Inclusion and American Indian Learning Resource Center invites all first year students to participate in the annual ODI Kick-Off event! 

ODI Kick-Off 
Who: First-year students interested in learning about resources and services for students of color, LGBTQ+ students, and Indigenous students 
What: A two-day experience to introduce students to campus, prepare you for UMD, and get you connected with other first-year students
Where: UMD Campus & Duluth
When: Early Move-In date: Aug. 23; Programming: Aug. 24 – 25, 2026 

Cost: The program is FREE. Attendees will be able to move onto campus early to your designated housing assignment at no additional cost. Participation in all programming on Monday and Tuesday is required. 

Register for the Kick-Off by July 25, 2026 to guarantee your spot.

Please Note: ODI Kick-Off may conflict with other UMD programs that invite students to move in early, such as BizDogs, World Languages & Culture LLC, and Band. Please cross-check your schedule and other committments to determine your availability.
