Three Village CSD Alternative Education Committee Survey

The Three Village Central School District recognizes that some students prefer non-traditional educational offerings and that there are many pathways to a high school diploma. Course offerings in career and technical education areas are very appealing and the demand for these course offerings has become more popular. Currently, Ward Melville High School offers a number of technical and career oriented courses. Some students take course programs at BOCES for part or all of their day. Many of these course programs, whether taken at WMHS or at BOCES, lead to earned certificates that can assist students with future employment opportunities. Students who participate in career and technical programs receive the required graduation credits in core courses and receive a diploma from Ward Melville High School.

The district is exploring the possibility of determining the number of students who would participate in courses and programs if we were to offer more of them here within our district.

Your feedback will determine which programs we will consider offering. Your response is greatly appreciated.
