Request to Attend the 2019 Python Language Summit
Howdy! This is the main signup form for the 2019 Python Language Summit. This year's event will be held Wednesday, May 1st at the Huntington Convention Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and is being chaired by Mariatta Wijaya and Łukasz Langa.

If you’d like to attend *and actively participate* in the the Python Language Summit, please fill in this form by March 21st 2019. We will be evaluating all applications at that point and will confirm your attendance by April 15th 2019. Until you hear back from us, your attendance is not confirmed.

As part of efforts to make this event more open and less mysterious, we are not requiring invitations by core developers anymore. However, please understand that we will have to be selective as space and time are limited. In particular, we are prioritizing active core contributors, as well as those who we believe will be able to improve the quality of the discussions at the event and bring a more diverse perspective to core Python developers.

The Language Summit is an intense single-day event. For it to be most effective, we need everybody to have a clear goal behind their attendance. Note there is no option labeled "I just want to listen".

- if you contribute to a Python implementation other than CPython, let us know which;

Dietary restrictions
PyCon provides free lunch for all summit attendees. This will be the same lunch served to tutorial attendees. While we can't guarantee we can accommodate all dietary restrictions, if you do have special needs, please describe them in the field below and we'll forward it on to the PyCon staff. Please keep it simple, merely listing your restrictions, e.g. "kosher, gluten-free".
