If you’d like to attend *and actively participate* in the the Python Language Summit, please fill in this form by March 21st 2019. We will be evaluating all applications at that point and will confirm your attendance by April 15th 2019. Until you hear back from us, your attendance is not confirmed.
As part of efforts to make this event more open and less mysterious, we are not requiring invitations by core developers anymore. However, please understand that we will have to be selective as space and time are limited. In particular, we are prioritizing active core contributors, as well as those who we believe will be able to improve the quality of the discussions at the event and bring a more diverse perspective to core Python developers.
If you'd like to know more about what the Python Language Summit is, read the following: https://us.pycon.org/2019/events/language-summit/
In particular:- if you contribute to a Python implementation other than CPython, let us know which;- if you contribute in some other way to Python, let us know how;- if you want to present a topic, let us know the title here (and also fill in: https://goo.gl/forms/8l7ITEKOjlWkBjcl1);- if you want to discuss topics presented by somebody else, let us know what they are.
(All topics this year will be in the following format: up to 10 minutes of presentation, followed by up to 20 minutes of questions and discussion.)
