Event Details
Celebration includes:
  • Finnish Midsummer/Juhannus BBQ social event running alongside and after the usual Finnish School. Opportunity to meet other Finnish people in the local area, join for a lunchtime BBQ, play some Finnish games like mölkky and mobile phone throwing, enjoy coffee and treats, and pick up some confectionary from the Finnish shop!
  • The delicious barbeque will once again be provided by professional chef Jakub from Eat Away Catering, using all fresh, local ingredients, cooked over charcoal at the event. Food will be served from around 12:30.

  • The barbeque is a fixed price per head, payable by contactless/mobile at the event (see below). The price includes the barbeque, salad, a soft drink, coffee/tea and dessert.  
  • Further soft drinks will be available to buy on the day. You are welcome to bring your own alcoholic beverages with you to enjoy at the event.  
  • We will also hold a fundraising raffle during the day: if you have any prizes that you can donate, please bring them with you on the day: that would be greatly appreciated.
