Please use this form to confirm that your Maia Learning "Applying" list (the colleges you are planning to apply to) is up to date and to let counselors know your earliest college application deadline. Maia Learning is a required part of applying to college as a Lincoln student.

If you need a counselor letter of recommendation, this form also gives you the opportunity to provide additional information that will help counselors write their letters. You’ll be asked several questions about your high school experiences in academics and extracurricular activities.

To be up to date, your Maia Learning "Applying" list should include all of the colleges you plan to apply to.

Changes to Your "Applying" List (Adding or Removing Colleges)

If your "Applying" list is complete for now but you think you might add more colleges later, that’s totally fine. Just remember to email your counselor directly whenever you add or remove a school from your Maia Learning "Applying" list. If you do not inform your counselor of any new additions, your documents may not be sent on time.

Do you need a counselor letter of recommendation for any of the colleges that you are applying to? *
If you are unsure of whether or not any of the colleges you are applying to requires a counselor letter of recommendation, please review your "Applying" list in Maia Learning.  For each college listed, you will see whether a counselor letter is required (CR: Req vs CR: Opt).  A visual can be found at the end of these instructions. “Opt” means that letters are not required. Please check all colleges in your list. 

NOTE: U of O, OSU, PSU, University of Washington and the UCs do not require counselor letters of recommendation.
