2018 Beef Tagging Requests
Beef Weigh In is scheduled for Saturday, February 24th
(Market Steers/Commercial Breeding Heifers)

This is required to attend in order to participate in the project at the county fair level. This is where you will receive your tags to establish ownership. IF you have a conflict (School, Family, State 4-H/FFA event) you will have the option to place a "tagging request". The deadline for tagging requests for BEEF WEIGH IN is FEBRUARY 9th! You MUST place your request by this deadline so that tagging can be arranged PRIOR to the time of weigh-in. Once all requests are received, we will contact individuals to arrange times to tag.

If you have not placed a request by the deadline and cannot make weigh-in, it will be your responsibility to get your livestock TO THE EXTENSION OFFICE to have them tagged PRIOR to the weigh-in date (February 24th). Please Note: If you do not attend the weigh in, you will not be eligible for rate of gain contests at the fair.

*** Payment will not be accepted at weigh-in this year for tags. All tags will be invoiced out for payment to families following weigh-in.***
