Application Rules
The full season application deadline is April 17th, 2026.
Applications submitted after this deadline will be reviewed each month on the 4th Thursday and are no longer
eligible for the full season discount.

Applying to the Farmers Market is a two-step process:

1. All vendors must submit this Market Application online or by mail, the committee will review the application at their monthly meeting

2. Once you've been accepted, you must then submit a vendor contract, along with a payment for your first week's fee, or the full season fee.

Please note, your acceptance to the North Adams Farmers Market is not final until the contract and payment have been received.
By checking the 'I agree' box below I am acknowledging that I have read the statement above and I know that I will not be officially accepted to the Market until I have a confirmation email from the Market Manager. I am also acknowledging that this is just the application and will not be able to take the place of the contract.

Market Rules and General Vendor Knowledge

• The North Adams Farmers Market is a producer-only market. All products must be grown or produced by all vendors at the market.

• Vendors will not be allowed to simply “show up” at the market to sell their products without prior approval from the market manager and committee.

• Vendors are independent entities and are each liable for all applicable licenses. All vendors are subject to onsite inspections by the North Adams Health Department and Mass Farmers Market officers. Vendors should have copies of all licenses and required signage (SNAP, WIC, etc) available at the market each week.

• If a vendor cannot attend the market, the Market Manager should be notified as soon as possible.

• All vendors are expected to be onsite for the entire time of the market, 9 am to 1 pm

• No cars are allowed inside Market 15 minutes before open and 15 minutes after close, unless approved by the market manager.

• Items for sale must be clean and of top quality.

• Less than top quality produce must be marked as “seconds”.

• Prices for all items for sale must be clearly marked and visible.

• Any vendor selling baked goods, canned or preserved foods is required by law to display allergy warning signs and have ingredient lists accessible at the booth.

• All market vendors must accept SNAP (if selling food items that qualify for this benefit) and credit/debit tokens. This requires the completion of an I-9 form, which will be available at each market.

• There will be a porta-potty available onsite.

• There is absolutely NO SMOKING at the market.
Market on Main Street Logistics

Market on Main Street is narrower than St Anthony's Lot but much longer, in order to make set up and take down safe and easy there will be an additional section of this application. In that section I will ask vendors to choose a time period that they will have to unpack and repack your car and then move it so more vendors can come through.

This will also impact where vendor spaces are. We aim to keep vendors in the same spot as much as possible. If you have any notes, preferences or specific needs please let us know in that section!
Please choose which of the below titles applies to you.
