Montavilla Emergency Warming Shelter (MEWS) Volunteer Form
MEWS is a low barrier, harm reduction focused shelter, that functions through a trauma informed lens. We will be serving guests who are facing housing insecurity, resource scarcity, mental health issues, and active substance use. For the safety of guests, and volunteers, we ask that volunteers make it to one of the shelter trainings we offer, or check out the online training that should be live on our Facebook page in December.

MEWS is hosted at St Peter & Paul Episcopal Church 247 SE 82nd Avenue, Portland Oregon 97216, and will be open to guests from 7am-7pm, whenever Multnomah county declares a severe weather emergency.

The next volunteer training will be on 12/10, 6-9pm at St Peter & Paul Episcopal
