2018 CAEA Fall Conference Workshop Proposal
"The Art of Play"

November 8-10, 2018
Beaver Run Resort
Breckenridge, Colorado

There are so many ways to engage in art through play. From developing cognition to exploring the world around us, play is the indispensable to our social development, our emotional well being, our physical health and creating balance in our lives. How can we use play in our classrooms to meaningfully engage students in learning? How do you use play to teach and inspire?

Other ideas and questions to ponder; how can we modify our lessons for all levels of learning, or how can we more effectively implement standards? We welcome presenters from all disciplines and encourage dancers, thespians, poets, writers, chefs, etc. to submit proposals. Lessons are open to all media and forms including performing arts. As always we are interested in workshops related to the standards and assessment. All workshops related to the arts are welcome, share your knowledge! Acceptance of proposals is not judged by relevance to the theme.

The "Art of Play" Conference will be held in Breckenridge, CO, November 8th - 10th, 2018 at Beaver Run Resort. By filling in this proposal, you are agreeing to present on any of the outlined dates. Please reserve these dates on your calendar. You will be notified by the end of June as to your presentation date.
