Who is an AVID Student?

AVID students are capable of completing a college preparatory or honors path with support. These students meet several of the following criteria:

 -- Students who have the potential and desire to attend a four-year college and...
 -- have appropriate classroom behavior
 -- earn mostly Bs & Cs in classes
 -- have a good attendance record
 -- have good work habits and are highly motivated
 -- are willing to commit to enrollment in a rigorous college preparatory or honors sequence of courses
 -- are first-generation students in the family to attend college

Students, please fully complete this application and submit it.  You should also contact and ask three of your current teachers to submit recommendation forms for you.
