The Center for Local and Regional Governance (CLRG) of the University of the Philippines National College of Public Administration and Governance invites researchers, practitioners, policymakers, local government officials, and development partners to participate in the UP-NCPAG's Better Governance Forum No. 1: A CLRG Policy Forum entitled “Ripple Effects, Local Responses: Philippine LGUs and the 2026 Energy Emergency”
The CLRG Policy Forum aims to document and examine the governance responses of Philippine Local Government Units (LGUs) to the socio-economic impacts of the 2026 energy emergency, facilitate policy dialogue and peer learning among governance stakeholders, and identify institutional lessons and resilience pathways that may inform long-term local governance and policy responses to future external economic and geopolitical disruptions.
