Title: Executive Assistant

General Description
The Executive Assistant is responsible for administrative support of the Lead Pastor including the management of daily schedules, correspondence (voicemail, e-mail, regular mail, etc.), and writing and editing documents. The Executive Assistant will also act as the church administrator and is responsible for managing the daily operations of the church, through supervising staff and volunteers, managing the church's schedule of events, performing basic bookkeeping tasks, and keeping accurate records. The Church Administrator manages staff and volunteers, works with the community, and supports the pastor and other church staff members.

Essential Job Functions
Manage all forms of correspondence including voicemail, e-mail, and regular mail as needed to ensure a smooth flow of communication for the Lead Pastor
Manage calendars for the Lead Pastor as primary contact person for meetings and other scheduled commitments.
Initiate, edit, and distribute church-wide e-mail communication for the Pastoral Staff.
Edit sermons, articles, manuscripts, and other written material as needed in support of Pastoral Staff.
Coordinate all events, retreats, classes, meetings, etc.
Maintain the church database through Church Teams
Assist the Lead Pastor in managing Connect Groups, Growth Track, and other classes
Plan and implement Sunday Order of Service
Assist the Financial Administrator in creating budgets, paying bills, overseeing payrolls, and recording church income
Manage church communications and publications, creating and distributing sermon notes, connect cards, and flyers
Assist with scheduling meetings, renting church equipment and facilities, and enforcing church policies for facility use.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Executive Assistant Requirements:
2-3 years of office or administrative experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer skills and ability to operate office equipment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks software
Ability to handle stress and problem solve.
Ability to keep confidential and sensitive information.
