Reunification Healing Circle: For Families Whose Children Have Been Stolen

Has your family been torn apart by the family policing system (CPS) and reunified? Are you and your family members looking for a space of healing and support? This offering is for YOU!

These Reunification Healing Circles are a space of resistance and reclamation for families who have been torn apart by the family policing system, often called “child welfare” or CPS, and who are now facing the challenges of reunification.

We are gathering to:

Mourn what was taken. Reclaim what is ours. Interrupt the generational trauma caused by separation. Begin or deepen the healing journey after reunification. Restore trust, connection, and power within our families.

This space is for those who carry the wounds of family separation—and the strength to come back together. We honor the pain and the power. We believe in repair. We believe in abolition. We believe that family is sacred and should never be collateral in a broken system.

This is for the mamas, the daddies, the grandmas, the kin, the children. This is for the stolen and the returned. This is for us.

Healing is our birthright. Reunification is sacred. Abolition is love.

A message from Ashley Albert (founder of Stolen Children's Month):

These circles were born from deep grief, sacred rage, and the unshakable love of parents who never stopped fighting for their children. I created Stolen Children’s Month to name what the system tries to erase—and these reunification healing circles are one of the most important parts. This space is for anyone impacted by family separation, whether your child is home or still not returned, whether you’re speaking or just sitting in silence. You deserve to be held. You deserve to grieve. You deserve to heal. These circles are a call to come home to yourself and to each other—with no judgment, no shame, just community, breath, and restoration.

In love and service,

Ashley
