Thanks for your interest in Hidden Villa's Sheep & Fiber Arts Festival! Last year’s event sold out at over 700 attendees. This year we expect it to sell out again.
Hidden Villa, an educational farm, is dedicated to the preservation of traditional craft and supporting the community of local makers.
We’re looking for folks who want to be part of a collective to celebrate makers and inspire others to begin or continue their fiber journey. Participants will get free access to the event for themselves and a guest. There are a number of ways for you to get involved:
- Participate in our Sheep-to-Shawl Experience: Show how it’s done in our “Sheep to Shawl” area. We need folks who can demonstrate their craft and help visitors understand how wool transforms into finished items. Demonstrate skirting, carding, spinning, knitting, weaving, and more.
- Show Your Work: Do you work with yarn, cloth, and fiber to make clothing, art, quilts, or other textile projects? Participate in our Maker’s Gallery! We’ll display your project in our gallery with your story about your piece(s). Showcase your work and inspire visitors to start their own fiber journey!
- Lead or demonstrate an activity: Engage children and adults in fabric or wool related activities
- Provide support for an activity: Get teamed up with an activity leader and help things run smoothly (activities TBD).
- Table or Vend: Sell your wares or promote your fiber related organization
