Dear Beye Staff and Families,

We have begun the search for the next principal of Beye Elementary School. Once the application window closes, the district's administrative team will review and assess all applicant information and hold quick screening interviews for all qualified applicants. The assessment will be based on the job description for the position and the candidate profile that Beye staff, families and students created via the survey. Candidates who make it through this initial screening will then be invited to participate in team interviews.  

The team interviews will be the second step in the selection process. Candidates will meet in person with a team of staff members, parents/guardians, and building and District administrators that represent the diversity of Beye. The team will interview each of the candidates and provide feedback based on the candidate profile.  Selected candidates will then interview with the district's new superintendent (Dr. Ushma Shah) and other administrators from central office.

The team interviews will tentatively take place in person on Wednesday, March 23. If you are interested in serving on the interview team, please complete this survey to apply. The survey will close at the end of the business day on March 10. Everyone who applies to serve on the teams will be notified about the results of the selection process by March 18.

Team Diversity: As we assemble the teams, it is important that both of them represent the diversity of the school's students, families and staff. With this in mind, we are requesting, but not requiring, that people please provide us with information about the racial group that best describes them and any additional details that may be relevant to the selection process.

Tentative Time Commitment: Approximately four hours on Wednesday, March 23 (tentatively). At this time, we are uncertain of the timeframe. This will be determined based on the number of candidates selected for second round.
