All contestants will compete in Evening Gown and will be judged on:

Stage Presence & Projection
Teen & Miss Divisions
Teen and Miss contestants will participate in a private interview the morning of the pageant and will answer an on-stage question that will be provided in advance.
Interview times will be emailed to contestants prior to pageant day.
Interviews will be held at Irwin County Middle School, located beside the auditorium.
Contestants are encouraged to use a simple “T” walking pattern. All contestants will enter and exit from the left side of the stage.
At the conclusion of each age division, contestants will remain on stage for optional category judging.
Please note: Dressing room space is limited.
Queen Appearances & Responsibilities
All queens are required to:
- Attend the Famers Luncheon October 30, 2026
- Attend the VIP Breakfast on October 31, 2026 at 9:00 a.m.
- Attend the Sweet Potato Festival October 31, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.

Ride in the Sweet Potato Parade October 31, 2026 (following parade)
All queens must remain after the pageant for official photographs.

The Teen and Miss winners will also receive a scholarship awarded upon successful completion of their reign.

Runner-up winners will receive a trophy and tiara.

Most Photogenic
Teen and Miss divisions will also receive an Interview Award.
All optional winners will receive a tiara and medal.
Photogenic Entry
One photogenic photo is included with entry. Additional photos may be entered for $5 each.
Please DO NOT mail photos.
Bring all photos to registration by 1:30 p.m. on pageant day.
People’s Choice Award
A People’s Choice winner will be selected based on the total amount of donations collected by each contestant.
Each contestant will have a donation bag displayed at registration with their contestant number. Monetary donations may be placed in these bags throughout the event.
Donation bags will be collected during intermission and counted to determine the winner.
The People’s Choice winner will receive:

Crowning Pin
The winner will also be invited to participate in all official appearances alongside the newly crowned queens.
This title may be double crowned.
Additional Information
The emcee will read contestant information directly from the application.
Contestant Expectations & Rules
Contestants must:

Never have been married
-
Never have been pregnant or had a child
-
Be of good moral character
-
Never have been convicted of a crime
There will be no refunds unless the pageant is canceled.
Any contestant or guest displaying unruly, unsportsmanlike, or inappropriate conduct — including disregard for pageant rules and regulations — may result in immediate disqualification and dismissal without refund.
