Lamond-Riggs Library Friends Survey
District of Columbia Public Library (DCPL) officials plan to build a new Lamond-Riggs neighborhood library, in its current location at 5401 South Dakota Avenue NE, to replace the existing library. The Lamond-Riggs Library Friends (LRLF), a non-profit organization formed to advocate for the local library, has developed a 29 question survey to gather your input. LRLF developed this survey to better serve you. It covers our patron community, facility usage, current/future library services and facility architecture.

The LRLF invites all residents served by this neighborhood library, to share your "vision" for the new library. For example, what should it include: Learning and Programming spaces, Equipment, Parking, etc.? Also, DCPL will release a survey later this year. Our surveys are complementary, so please complete both.

Please contact Mr. Robert T. Oliver, President LRLF (202.215.1679), or Mr. Rodney Foxworth, Vice President LRLF (202.997.1875) if you have questions. Also, please forward any email correspondence to We welcome your comments!!
