Volunteer at Louder than a Bomb Canada 2019!
It's almost time for Louder Than a Bomb Canada 2019! This year's theme is: Poetic License.

The work we do would not be possible without our roster of incredible volunteers! Join the team and see how you can support and empower young artists across the Greater Hamilton Area!

Volunteer opportunities are available during the weekdays, evenings, and weekends, throughout March, April and May. This year, the festival is running May 2-10, 2019.

We have a need for volunteers before, during, and after festival events. There are many roles available, including:
- MAKING PASSES: help assemble festival passes; little to no involvement with people or crowds, only before festival
- TRANSPORTATION: Volunteers with cars - help us with transport of equipment, supplies, and persons throughout the duration of the festival; little to no involvement with crowds.
- MERCHANDISE: set up and work the merchandise table during our events and bouts. This involves handling cash and participating in sales of HYP merchandise and chapbooks.
- DOOR/REGISTRATION: greet/check-in students and schools as they arrive, ensure everyone is registered and has appropriate documents, direct them through the venue space.
- COMMUNICATIONS: edit media releases and any social media campaigns or documents for public release. Perfect for individuals with a background in Communications or an interest in PR/Marketing.
- SET UP/CLEAN UP
- PHOTOGRAPHY: Volunteers with cameras - help us document the festival and provide your services throughout the many events in capturing the wonder that is LTABC!
- FLOATER: fill any role that may develop a need during the duration of the festival. Perfect for people who need flexible schedules or are unsure how they would like to contribute
