Oppose Council's $65m Rate Rise
Mayor Regan - Rate Rise Regan - is trying to impose on YOU another $4.5m Council rate rise next year, and a $65m rate rise over 10 years.

This is despite amalgamation savings of $29m next year and $160m over 10 years. And budget surpluses of over $100m over 10 years. All the while, Council wastes $13m on new garbage bins no one needs and no one asked for.

I am arguing for a rate freeze, as a way of returning some of the benefits of amalgamation to you. But, I need YOUR help!

If you oppose the rate rise and support a rate freeze, please SIGN this petition which I will present to Council.

Many thanks for your support.
