Stanford Cantonese Enrollment - Interest Survey

The future of Cantonese at Stanford depends on your enrollment.

We are gathering names of Stanford students who can commit to registering for a Cantonese class during the 2023-2024 academic year. This will continue to put pressure on the University and show the importance of funding Cantonese classes. This survey is designed to let our campaign understand your enrollment plans and needs regarding Cantonese language classes for future years.

Stanford is now offering 3 Cantonese courses for fall quarter:

CHINLANG 14B First Year Cantonese
Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri 4:30 PM - 5:20 PM (5 units)
This course series can be used to fulfill the language requirement!

CHINLANG 16 Beginning Conversational Cantonese
Tue, Thu 10:30 AM - 11:20 AM (2 units)

CHINLANG 19 Intermediate Cantonese Conversation
Mon, Wed 12:30 PM - 1:20 PM (2 units)

Your support of Save Cantonese and interest was essential to this incredible achievement, but the only way we can keep Cantonese classes for the future is with sufficient student enrollment.
