To commemorate his 90th birthday, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama has designated July 2025 to June 2026 as The Year of Compassion.
Accordingly, the focus of this year’s interfaith conference will be an exploration of how different traditions cultivate compassion and put it into practice in daily life.
We have invited speakers with different backgrounds-including Abrahamic, Sufi, Native American and Buddhist traditions as well as modern secular practices-to share with us their experiences and beliefs about compassion. Our intention is to have time not only for the speakers’ presentations but also for reflection, informal conversations, and a long lunch break.
