Trailwork Day along the New England National Scenic Trail, Erving Ledges
Celebrate The 10th anniversary of the NET as a National Scenic Trail with a day of trailwork to keep it in good condition!

Join AMC New England Trail and AMC-New Hampshire Chapter Trail volunteers for an interchapter event: basic maintenance day on NET Section 16. You may know this section for the spectacular Erving Ledges and Hermit Castle. We will do a 5 mile loop hike that will include both of these spots while clearing a few blowdowns, raking out leaves and other basic maintenance as needed. It will be a great way for new people to see what we do on our trails, and ask questions about helping adopt (or co-adopting) a section of trail of your own. Holding up ledges not required. ;) We plan on being out there for 4-5 hours or so, depending on lunch time and work required. Bad weather will cancel.

There is some moderate up and down on the trail, so the hike itself should not be regarded as "easy". Please register as directed below and you’ll receive meeting time/location and items you will need to bring.

Your registration is complete only after you respond to this form and a trip leader has contacted you. Join us on Friday, June 7, between 9:00 and 3:00!

Holding up ledges not required!
