USC ASPEN Spring 2025 Interest Form
The USC Advanced Spacecraft Propulsion & Energy Laboratory is looking for new and enthusiastic members this semester! Please fill out this form if you're interested in joining our team so that we have a way to contact you. No prior research experience is required and we are open to all majors + years.

Our build hours for the Spring semester are as follows:
Mondays: 7-9pm Build
Tuesdays: 12-2pm (Thrust Stand), 7-9pm Build
Thursdays: 10am-12pm (Simulations), 12-2pm (Thrust Stand), 7-9pm Build
Fridays: 12-12:30 General Meeting, 12:30-3pm Build
Make sure to stop by to get involved, learn about our club, and meet our team!

Our lab is in The Baum Family Makerspace. Note that you must have level 1 training at the Makerspace to use the facilities; the Makerspace holds trainings at 5pm every day that you may join. Upon entering the main space, take a left into the student team cage areas, and our lab is on the right with our plaque on the door!

DESCRIPTION
Founded in August 2018, the ASPEN started as the nation’s only student-led research group focused on modeling nuclear-based spacecraft propulsion systems.The Asteria Thruster is ASPEN's newest project, starting in 2022.
