Class Series and Workshop Proposal Form
PHAC is offering Instructor opportunities for either series of multi-week Classes and 1-day Workshops. 

These will be held at the Historic Grant Ave, 216 South Grant Street,  Denver, CO 80209. The openings are for Wednesday 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm and Thursday  9:00 am - 12:30 pm (including setup/down). Instructors must have all participants and materials out by the ending hour.

Example: Bring your sketchbook and your paints! You will be learning about:

•  Mark making and develop an abstract language that is unique to you.  

•  The importance of using value in your work to create a sense of depth and space. 

•  How to mix a limited harmonious pallet, and  

•  Explore the construction of organic forms. Then focus on composition by arranging these forms to create dynamic relationships

NOTE:
Generally classes are scheduled as follows:
Wednesday: 12:00 - doors open for set-up. Class 12:15 - 3:15
Thursday: 9:00 - doors open for set-up. Class 9:15 - 12:15.

The end time of a workshop must include clean-up and vacating the premises. Please plan accordingly depending on the complexity of the class.

Notes: Art supplies can get expensive. Which supplies are required for students to bring? Which supplies are optional – for example, because you’ll have extra supplies?

Also, if your class involves using oil or acrylic paints, please note that we will add a requirement to your class listing asking students to bring a container that they can use to remove their paint waste and dispose of on their own.

Example: 

Jane joined the Park Hill Art Club in January 2018. She has had a wide range of teaching experience from undergraduates to adult education. Jane received both a BFA in Printmaking and an MFA in Digital Media from the Rhode Island School of Design. She is an active muralist and has had work featured in multiple publications. While Jane works in all types of media, she believes it all starts with a strong foundation in drawing.
