Welcome to the bid form for ACF Nationals 2017! If you are interested in bidding to host ACF Nationals, please fill out this form as completely as possible. If you do not know the answer to a question in this form, please give your best (realistic) guess. It is important for us to have as much information as possible when considering where to host the tournament.

ACF Nationals will be held on the weekend of April 22-23, 2017. If this date is not available for your hosting location but you still feel that it would be an excellent site to host ACF Nationals, please still fill out this form. We may be interested in using your site for future ACF Nationals.

What is the maximum number of game rooms you can reserve in a single building that also contains a lecture hall? *
What is the maximum number of game rooms you can reserve in a single building if it need not contain a lecture hall? *
What is the maximum number of game rooms you can reserve in a very closely situated group of buildings (<3 minute walk between maximally apart game rooms), with or without the lecture hall included in the same group? *
Can you get a final, irrevocable room confirmation form showing all of the specific rooms that the event has claimed for April 2017, no later than October 1, 2016? *
What, if any, is the monetary charge for using the rooms? *
Is there any danger at your institution of being kicked out of rooms early, for any reason? Has it happened in the past? If yes, please explain. *
How many staff members do you think your club could provide? *
Of those staff members, how many would you estimate are competent moderators who would not have trouble reading at ACF Nationals? *
Do you have a person or persons on-site who can fulfill the role of a logistics director? Such a person would have to be in communication with the editors prior to the tournament, and responsibilities would include room reservations, any negotiations with campus staff, procuring food, handling registration, and so on. *

How many outside staffers who are experienced quizbowl moderators do you think your site would attract? Use your best guess in estimating this number. *

Is your site within reasonable distance of a major airport? Which airport(s) and how far? *
Is relatively inexpensive lodging (less than $100 per night) available within a reasonable distance of the tournament site? *

How many teams that are likely to attend ACF Nationals would you estimate are within a roughly 6-hour driving range from your site? *
