Date: 20th September 2024 (9:30am - 4pm, tbc)
Venue: The Wave (Workroom 2), University of Sheffield (optional virtual attendance for the morning session)
Introduction
We're really excited about hosting this one-stop shop event about the opportunities available in translational healthcare research. You'll get to hear from key funders about what they are looking for and hear from awardees about their experience and what the funds have enabled them to achieve beyond the lab bench.
Prof Ash Tiwari (Deputy Vice-President for Innovation) will highlight how the university is supportive of this work, what kind of support is provided by professional staff (project, knowledge exchange and commercialisation managers) and welcomes anyone exploring translational avenues.
