Voter Registration in a Pandemic
Virginia Organizing members have registered thousands of voters over the years, but what can be done during a pandemic? The most effective methods for voter registration have shifted. We can't go out and do "location" registrations — sitting outside the most popular grocery store in your community, for example — so how can we do it?  We will discuss the pros and cons of using your phone, using text messages, and registering people via social media. We will then conclude with a discussion of a proven approach that Virginia Organizing has used in the past under many different circumstances: "Each One Takes Ten."
