Waiver of Liability & Consent for a Minor:  I am the parent or legal guardian of the participant listed above, a minor (“Child”). I understand that participation in this event is voluntary and the decision whether or not to participate rests solely upon the Child, myself or my designee. I understand that sailing can be a hazardous sport and on behalf of the Child, agree to accept all inherent risk of property damage and injury involved. I also understand the contagious nature of Covid-19 and voluntarily assume that I or my child(ren) may be exposed to Covid-19 by attending or participating in CGRA sanctioned events or activities and that such exposure may result in illness or personal injury. I understand that the risk of being exposed to Covid-19 at CGRA may result from the actions , omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including but not limited to CGRA employees, volunteers, program participants and their families. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby waive any rights I or the Child may have to sue the Columbia Gorge Racing Association, the Port of Cascade Locks, instructors, race officials, sponsors, volunteers or any other organization, or official (“Organizers) involved with the event with respect to personal injury, illness or property damage suffered by the Child as a result of our participation in this event and hereby release the Organizers from any liability for such injury or damage, even if caused by negligence. I represent that I am authorized to represent said Child and make this agreement on his/her behalf. *

Media LIcense and Rights: In perpetuity, I license and give permission to CGRA to take photographs or video recordings of my child at the event, hereby waiving any right to inspect or approve the use of such images and recordings, and to use my child's name, age and photograph, without compensation, in any press release, web site posting or on-line forum (including CGRA’s website, Facebook, and other social media outlets), advertisement, brochure or other medium either currently or hereafter known, which is intended to publicize CGRA and any of its regattas, clinics, and other activities, as well as the unrestricted right to reproduce, use, exhibit, display, distribute and create derivative works of these images and recordings in any media. *
